Academics
BCD is an independent school serving preschool through ninth grade. BCD offers a curriculum with substantial breadth and depth. Small classes, multiple opportunities for individual attention, and proactive communication with families are hallmarks of the BCD experience.
Classes are offered in English, Mathematics, Geography, History, French (beginning at age four), Latin (starting in 6th grade), Chorus and Music, Studio and Theater Art, Woodworking and Pottery (starting in 4th grade), Lab Science, Computer, and Physical Education.
